Welcome to Quobics! By using our service, you agree to these terms. Quobics is currently in a demo/feedback phase - we provide access to gather user feedback on our AI data analysis concept.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Quobics ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Quobics is an AI-powered data analysis platform that allows users to:
- Upload and analyze data files (CSV, Excel, JSON) locally in your browser
- Ask questions about your data using natural language
- Generate visualizations and insights powered by AI
- Create and save dashboards from analysis results
Current Status: Quobics is in a demo/feedback phase. Access is provided to gather user feedback on the concept and functionality.
3. Demo Access
3.1 Obtaining Access
To use Quobics, you need demo credentials which are provided:
- By requesting access through our demo request form
- Directly from our team
3.2 Account Credentials
Your demo account includes:
- A 9-digit Account ID (auto-generated)
- A password (provided to you securely)
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your account with others.
3.3 Session Behavior
For security purposes:
- Your session remains active while your browser is open
- Sessions are cleared when you close your browser
- You must sign in again when reopening your browser
4. Demo Plan Limits
Demo accounts include the following limits:
- 15 AI queries per account
- 25 MB maximum file upload size
- 1,000 rows maximum per dataset for AI analysis
- 100 columns maximum per dataset
When you reach your query limit, you will be prompted to provide feedback on your experience.
5. Your Data
5.1 Local Storage
Your uploaded data files are stored locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers for permanent storage. This means:
- Your data stays on your device
- Clearing your browser data will remove your uploaded files
- We cannot recover data you delete from your browser
5.2 AI Analysis
When you ask questions about your data:
- Your data rows (up to 1,000 rows) are sent to our AI service provider (OpenRouter) for analysis
- Data is transmitted securely via HTTPS
- The AI service processes your data to generate answers but does not store it after processing
- Your questions and AI responses are stored in our database for your conversation history
5.3 Chat History
Your conversation history is stored in our database linked to your account. You can:
- View your past conversations
- Flush (delete) all messages at any time
- Delete individual conversations
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Not upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful data
- Not attempt to circumvent security measures or usage limits
- Not share your account credentials with others
- Provide honest feedback about your experience
- Not use the Service for any illegal activities
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Process data containing sensitive personal information of others without proper authorization
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the source code
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated tools to abuse the Service
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our Content
All content, features, and functionality of the Service (excluding your data) are owned by Quobics and are protected by intellectual property laws.
8.2 Your Content
You retain all rights to the data you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the analysis service.
9. Feedback
As Quobics is in a feedback phase:
- We encourage you to provide feedback on your experience
- Feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service
- By submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use it without compensation
10. Service Availability
As a demo service:
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access
- The Service may be modified or discontinued at any time
- Features may change as we develop the product based on feedback
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Specifically:
- AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI analysis
- You should verify important findings independently
- We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI insights
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not liable for any loss of data or business interruption
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service (currently $0 for demo access)
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Abuse the Service or attempt to circumvent limits
- Engage in any prohibited activities
The demo period may also end at our discretion as we transition to a production service.
14. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
